On Fri. Aug. 11 dozens of cyclists celebrated the opening of bike lanes along Bloor by ringing their bells. A CBC story reports on their jubilation and notes that this is a one-year project whose effects will be studied carefully.

A fire on the deck of a residence in the Major Street and College Street area that had spread to the roof is now out.

Let’s make sure Harbord Village is well-represented at a public consultation meeting this Thursday. City Planning has prepared a Bloor Block Study to update zoning rules on Bloor from Walmer to St. George. That’s just on the edge of Harbord Village,
