Steve Klein, a valued member of the HVRA Board and NW Area Rep since 2009, died on Sept. 25, 2016, following a long struggle with lymphoma.
Steve applied his professional expertise to many HVRA activities. He liked to get things done, among them organizing the PumpkinFest, running an online silent auction, rethinking our website, and helping revise the Board structure. The new website was launched a few weeks ago, and the proposed Amendments to the Constitution will be implemented soon. We will miss Steve’s vision, his acute good sense, and his hard work on behalf of HVRA. We mourn his passing, and wish his family solace.
Steve Klein’s funeral will be held at Benjamin’s Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Ave. West, on Tues. 27 Sept. at 11:30 am. His shiva will be held through the week at 65 Stuart Ave. Details, directions, chosen charities and a link to a Memorial Book are available online.
