Bloor St. Planning: Meeting Thurs. June 23

Let’s make sure Harbord Village is well-represented at a public consultation meeting this Thursday. City Planning has prepared a Bloor Block Study to update zoning rules on Bloor from Walmer to St. George. That’s just on the edge of Harbord Village,

Donate your gently-used but unwanted items, volunteer to help at the sale, and come out to enjoy the company and the bargains.

All proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation and the Alexandra Park Scadding Court Scholarship Fund.

Old and new in Harbord Village, May 2016

Thanks to many local photographers for images on this site. They include Wendy Smith, Margaret Procter and Regine Schmid (past and current webmasters), Richard Longley, Sue Purvis, Leslie Thompson, Graham Rempe, and other people who enjoyed HVRA events and sent their photos.

The HVRA logo: Clarence Barnes (1934-1995) drew the pencil sketch used in our page header. (Wendy Smith added the touches of green.) Barnes lived on Brunswick and taught Chemical Engineering at U of T. He was also an active artist, part of the JAC Collective.
