The December Annex Gleaner contains a lively account of a “fractious” neighbourhood meeting on Nov. 29. Local residents, the developer, and Councillor Joe Cressy met to discuss proposals for an 11-storey building and eight stacked townhouses on the green space surrounding the heritage-designated building at 666 Spadina. (Did you know it was designed by modernist architect Uno Prii?) Brian Burchell outlines a range of points made in the discussion, including remarks by Harbord Village activist Bob Barnett. For more information about the plans, see this HVRA webpage.
