The meeting will conduct regular business, hold board elections, and hear from our local representatives. We’ll vote on whether to accept the financial statement presented at the spring meeting and will view an interim financial report. There will be breakout rooms for area reps to lead discussion of issues important to each area of Harbord Village. We will also honour long-serving Board member Bob Stambula as our most recent winner of the Community Builder Award.
Our guest speaker will be Shannon Simpson, Senior Director of Indigenous Initiatives at U of T. She will speak on the topic “Amplifying Indigenous Presence at the University of Toronto.”
This meeting is a great way to meet your neighbours, find out what is happening in your community, contribute and be involved. All are welcome to attend but only paid-up HVRA members will be able to vote—so be sure to renew before the meeting!
