Greetings all. Here's an opportunity to chase away the Winter blues this Saturday night.

Trinity-St. Pauls United Church is hosting their second contra dance on Saturday night, January 16th, at 427 Bloor Street. It is “souped-up” square dancing steps, with a caller guiding us, and live music with a fiddle band playing Celtic, Queceboise, and Southern reels and jigs. The dance is beginner-friendly, family-friendly, queer-friendly, and single-persons friendly. Children over 7 pick it up easily. Wear loose and comfortable casual clothing- or dress-up. Bring dance-friendly shoes to change into from your winter boots. Starts at 7:30.m. and goes until 10:30. Alcohol, drugs and fragrance-free zone .

(More info is available from Vicki Obedkoff 416-922-8435 #2, vobedkoff@trinitystpauls.ca.)

Hope to see you on the dance floor!

Cheers,
