HVRA's Famous Neighbourhood Cleanup Days

Want to live in a clean neighbourhood? Like the idea of meeting your neighbours to help make our area a cleaner environment for all?

Every year HVRA holds one or two cleanup days - usually in April and October -- where neighbours put on their gloves and get to work removing litter and gathering recyclables from sidewalks, laneways and streets.

This is a real community-building activity that has, in the past, attracted the support and assistance of friends like the students at Central Tech.
